Full Circle

After completing memorisation of the 13 paragraphs of the TOTTS in the time and space of 14 Badí months, I had 5 more months to complete the full Badí year of 176BE and the perfect recitation of the whole tablet.

Starting with the month of Masáʼil Questions, I noted on wikipedia that other Words or Names and Attributes of God associated with this month, according to authorised English translations of Bahá’í scripture, were “principles, truths, matters, mysteries, subtleties, obscurities, intricacies, problems”. It was interesting to see that each month had a number of Names and Attributes associated with it, perhaps reflecting some of the 99 Names of ‘Allah of the Muslim City of Certitude. I realised that I had only touched the edge of the mystical path of enlightenment that was the Badí Wondrous calendar…

After a week at home I then flew with my other wing and stepson back to work where they stayed with me as I worked the night shift over Xmas. It was so nice being a normal family for a change and gave a taste of what the blessed future might be looking like.

Then on the Feast of Sharaf Honour, also translated as ‘excellence, glory’, we flew to NZ, visited grandparents over New Year, and then spent some time together. My plan for January had been to spend a couple of weeks at the beach reading Nader Saiedi’s books, but instead we camped on our own land and spent a lot of time relaxing and binge watching a Netflix series – Resurrection: Diriliş: Ertuğrul. It was a Turkish series with English subtitles that had 5 seasons with over 400 episodes, 76 of 45minutes each in the 1st season, and we had completed the whole 1st season by the time I flew back to work in time for the month of Sulṭán, also ‘king, lord, majesty, sovereign, monarch, authority, Sovereignty, potency, the power of sovereignty, the all-possessing, the most potent of rulers’

The series was so well made and so interesting and inspiring that neither I nor my beloved could stop watching it hour after hour, and it was a truly great initiation into what the religion of Islam was like back at the time of the crusaders, back in the 13th Century CE, when the Turkish nomad tribes held the banner of Islam by defeating the Mongol invasions from the East and the cruel crusader and Templar incursions from the West. Ertuğrul and his mythical white horse and sword forged in a nomad tent, was the father of Uthmann, aka Osman 1st in true history who was to establish the Great Ottoman Empire that lasted for about 600 years…

On return to work I kept up my addiction for the first 9 days or so watching another 50 episodes of the 2nd season, till I was about 30 episodes ahead of my other wing. There was one character in the series, a white bearded holy man of Islam by the name of Ibn Arabi, who appeared at miraculous times wisely quoting the Qur’án, often saving the day and impressing everyone with his wisdom, and his beautiful Words of Muhammad from the Qur’án, one good example being in Episode 107 in which he appeared like an angel to read the map for Sulṭán Aleaddin’s war against the invading Mongols and told brave warrior Ertuğrul Bey to remember his words “Destiny loves Endeavour!” At another time when Ertuğrul had some miraculous luck on his brave quest Ibn Arabi told him “When Khidr is your companion good fortune is on your side!” giving some feeling of how that archetype worked in the Islamic world. More info about just who the Ismailis were came with Ertuğrul galloping off to sort out an impossibly dangerous situation to expose a cunning traitor and telling his warrior Turgut Alp not to come with him “Better to put only one Ismaili’s head under the knife! There is no better game-breaker than ‘Alláh! Alláhu-Akbár!”

Coinciding with the month of Sulṭán, Sovereigntythe concept of Sulṭán came up quite frequently not only in relation to the Sulṭán of the Islamic state back then, but also in his niece Halime Sulṭán, a beautiful woman of royal lineage whom the Turkish nomad saved from the Templars’ hands and married, and she was to become the mother of Osman! I found the English translations very good and the language very romantic and poetic as in Episode 108 in which Ertuğrul wished Halime Sulṭán “Godspeed! May the sun never burn your skin! May no rain make you cold! May no stone get in your way! Come back to your tribe like a flowing river!”

On 13 Sulṭán, the 31st of January, for the first time I recited the whole TOTTS from top to bottom without any hesitation. The last 6 weeks of reciting the whole tablet daily to my other wing had been a blessed experience, creating a whole new field of harmony that we had never experienced before, bringing a lot of happiness into our every day activities. By the time I got back to work I almost had the whole tablet apart from the last couple of paragraphs and then after another 13 days or so I finally had it down to perfection…

It was time to get back to Nader Saiedi’s book Logos and Civilisation, and I was immediately in for another dose of astonishment, another ZK moment, when I discovered in the chapter about the 7 Valleys a big discussion of Ibnu’l-‘Arabí and his influence on Sufi and Islamic cosmology and mystical knowledge. It meant to me that my binge watching of Ertuğrul and its huge attraction had not only been a matter of addiction, but it also brought some more beautiful signposts of learning on the Path of Search and Guidance, some more manifest signs of the Universe!

In Chapter 2, the Ontological Circle, there was a discussion on God’s Will, which I had also looked at in an earlier Chapter, when I found that there were two different translations online of Para 11, in which the opening sentence goes… They that valiantly labour in quest of God’s Will, when once they have renounced all else but Him, will be so attached and wedded to that city, that a moments separation from it, would to them be unthinkable. The other translation, which my other wing discovered, and made us look deeper into it, was … They that valiantly labour in quest of God, will, once they have renounced all else but Him, be so attached etc…

After thinking about it we had both felt that it was God’s Will that we should be valiantly labouring for, rather than God Himself. Now I found in Nader Saiedi’s book that these two translations carry the essential difference between Ibnu’l-‘Arabí’s teaching and Bahá’u’lláh’s Words. Ibnu’l-‘Arabí and Sufi thought hold that the human being can approach and merge with God, become God in all things, whereas Bahá’í teachings are that man can only approach the Will of God, and that God Himself is immeasurably exalted beyond man, as conveyed in that powerful verse in Gleanings… Ten thousand Prophets, each a Moses, are thunderstruck upon the Sinai of their search at His forbidding voice, “Thou shalt never behold Me!”; whilst a myriad Messengers, each as great as Jesus, stand dismayed upon their heavenly thrones by the interdiction, “Mine Essence thou shalt never apprehend!”

Then in Chapter 3, Spiritual Journey, I found a big discussion from Nader Saiedi on Destiny reflecting Ibn Arabi’s words for Ertuğrul …  “Destiny loves Endeavour!” In the scheme presented in this book, Destiny was below Determination, which was in turn below Will on the Arc of descent from God into matter… On page 84 … The central issue concerning destiny has been the relation between divine and human will and action. Is everything predestined by God so that all human actions are predetermined without any human agency, or do humans have freedom of will and action? Actually the concept of destiny is even more general. It concerns the relation of the divine will to the creation, as well as the possibility of metaphysical freedom for contingent beings. In approaching the concept of destiny, therefore, it will be useful to briefly explore the history of the idea. Of those who have dealt with this issue, two figures particularly important for our analysis are Ibnu’l-‘Arabí and Shaykh Ahmad-i-Ahsá’í…

Ibnu’l-‘Arabí wrote extensively on the concept of destiny. For him, though destiny comes after the divine will in the order of creation, it is actually destiny that determines the divine will and the divine decree. Destiny, here, becomes the capacities and measures of things in their archetypal essences. God’s will is determined by those eternal essences…. Divine knowledge is seen as dependant on its objects of knowledge, namely the essence of things or their destiny, and God’s creative will is dictated and determined by their logical requirements. On the other hand, this means that every event is preordained and that everything happens in accordance with the arbitrary destiny of things: whatever humans do is part of their predetermined destiny, and there is no reward or punishment based on freedom of will and justice. However, a mystic understands that arbitrary reward and punishment are also part of destiny and must be accepted because all things are foreordained. This concept of destiny calls for a passive attitude of resignation on the wake of predestination.

Nader Saiedi wrote several interesting paragraphs going deeper into this issue, which seemed to boil down to whether man really had free will or not, and if we do is the punishment for misdeeds destined for us etc. The Bahá’í writings were clear that we humanity are not to be passive floaters on the river of destiny but with hard work and effort, learning and understanding, can improve ourselves by drinking from the chalice of selflessness, thus discovering a mine rich in gems of inestimable value within,  by the grace of God tearing asunder the veils of glory, and reflecting the light of the beloved Sun of this dispensation in many different colours, answering the call of the Ancient Beauty, as Nader Saiedi pointed out on page 89, ʿAṭṭār’s beautiful story is encapsulated by Bahá’u’lláh in the first aphorism of the Persian Hidden Words:

O YE PEOPLE THAT HAVE MNDS TO KNOW AND EARS TO HEAR! The first call of the Beloved is this: O mystic nightingale! Abide not but in the rose-garden of the spirit. O messenger [hudhud] of the Solomon of love! Seek thou no shelter except in the Sheba of the well-beloved, and O immortal phoenix! Dwell not save on the mount [Qáf] of faithfulness. Therein is thy habitation, if on the wings of thy soul thou soarest to the realm of the infinite and seekest to attain thy goal.

I now felt much less guilty about my addictive binge watching on Netflix as through that agency I’d had some wonderful deepening into more knowledge of the Spirit realms and the 7 stations of the Arc of descent into matter and then the 7 stations of the Ascent back to God, which were the 7 Valleys!

Looking at the Ontological Circle again I realised I was still in primary school as with the discussion of Will and Destiny I was only down to the 3rd stage of descent from the Manifestation of God, Bahá’u’lláh the Blessed Beauty, and there were 4 stages to go. However, I was still getting some amazing learning and understanding when I realised that the 2nd stage of Determination was not only operative in the Arc of Descent but also was a crucial ingredient at the beginning of this Trail of the True Seeker or Path of Search, at the very beginning of the Arc of Ascent, in the first sentence of the TOTTS: O My brother, when a true seeker determineth to take the step of search, on the path leading to the knowledge of the Ancient of Days… So looking at the diagram I was starting to realise that 1st in each and every dispensation there was the Will of God coming through the Manifestation, then a human soul could determine to cleanse and purify his heart etc in order to influence his destiny coming down into matter, as well as going back to spirit, and this method of spending a year deepening into the TOTTS was possibly one 0f the best ways to reach the learning and understanding necessary to take not only the Arc of Descent down into Matter, and then the Arc of Ascent back to the Manifestation of God, but also a 3rd Arc of Descent on a new and more elevated loop of the spiral, bringing the Understandings from the Heavenly realm into existence in the Physical realm.

On the Netflix series I had become accustomed to the Turkmen warriors on special occasions quoting a special phrase and googling the phrase I found it was the glorious phrase that begins every chapter (except Chapter 9), of the Qur’án … Bismi’llahi’r-rahmani’r-rahim – In the Name of God the Most Compassionate the Most Merciful. Now I found in Nader Saiedi’s text on p 130 more illumination on this phrase and its relationship to the Bábí Bahá’í revelation… …briefly, for the Báb the Bayán and its nineteen unities are explications of the nineteen letters of the first verse of the Qur’án … According to various Islamic traditions, all spiritual truth revealed in the Holy Scriptures is contained within this verse, and all the truth hidden in that verse is contained in the first letter, b (bá), and that b is none other than Bahá’u’lláh…

Another ‘Zikru’llah Khadem moment’ came when I found on p122 that when the Blessed Beauty completed his book Kitáb-i-Iqán containing the TOTTS, he signed it, along with some other works by Him, with the signature ‘152’. Those who have been with me every step of the journey will appreciate my astonishment as  it was the number next to 153, about which I had lots of remarkable signs of the universe even before discovering that it was the signature of the Beloved, and now I found that the number of the Blessed Beauty is 152, which was just another spelling of the greatest name Bahá, as in Persian writing letters and numbers are read from right to left, and when 152 is read from right to left the numbers represent the letters b h á or Bahá! But not only did the 152 represent Bahá’u’lláh, it was also the signature of the Báb, illuminating another instance of “return”, as Nader Saiedi continued on p123: Second, in both the Arabic and Persian Bayán, the Báb is designated as the reality around whom eight unities revolve. Since in the Bayán a unity (vahid) is equivalent to 19, the Báb (as well as Quddús) would be denoted numerically by 152. Consequently, by that designation 152 Bahá-u-lláh is simultaneously affirming His identity as Bahá, and as a return of the Primal Point, the Báb.

The following day after my meditation I studied the next chapter in Logos and CivilisationThe Kitáb-i-Badí: The Promise Fulfilled, about another book of the Ancient Beauty, this one from Edirne/Adrianople just before He and His followers were shipped off to the ‘Most Great Prison’ in Akka. This one was not yet translated into English, but, like the Kitáb-i-Iqán answered a series of questions, this time in answer to some of the scurrilous lies that his ungrateful half-brother Azal and his companions made about the Blessed Beauty. Like the Iqán the book was split into 2 parts, the first part a lofty answer from the celestial realms that covered all the questions with great Grace and Beauty, then the 2nd part was a descent into answering the questions one by one, in a most amazingly complex manner drawing on allusions from many times and places into a work of great poetry and beauty. In one place I had a bit more education about the Ismailis, who were the followers of the errant first son of the 6th Imam of Shi’ih Islam; p194:

It was in answer to the man who sent the questions, especially related to the fact that as the half-brother Yaḥyá Azal had been designated as the leader of the Bábís by the Báb, that light can never turn into a fire (i.e. that Mirza Yaḥyá Azal could become evil) … Bahá’u’lláh offers additional forceful arguments. He asserts that it has always been a divine rule that light can become turned into fire. He gives the example of Satan, who was preeminent among the angels but became evil when he turned away from the Will of God; Judas Iscariot, who was one of the twelve apostles of Jesus but turned against him and became divested of his station; and Isma’il, the eldest son of the Sixth Imam of Shi’ih Islam… The case of Ismail is particularly interesting. Isma’il was appointed by the sixth Imam as his successor and vicegerent, but when his actions went against the will of God, his position was taken away from him and was transferred by the authority of the Imam, to the younger son Musa, who then became the Seventh Imam...

I had more illumination on the mysteries of “return” and “revival” when Bahá’u’lláh, in answer to the question of how a full divine manifestation could only last 19 years of dispensation, when really the Bábí Dispensation should last for a thousand years, compared the case of the Báb and Himself, to John the Baptist and Jesus – an identical situation, as we had already found the links also with Elijah and Elisha through these chapters… on page 190:  An important argument Bahá’u’lláh presents is related to the short time in which the Cause of John the Baptist was completed. Bahá’u’lláh reminds His reader that John is described by the Qur’án as an independent Prophet who was preparing the people for the advent of Jesus. John brought new laws and practices, such as fasting and baptism, but His Cause was completed in an extremely short time. Furthermore, Bahá’u’lláh points out the striking similarity between the statement of John the Baptist and the Báb, both of whom were heralds of an imminent Manifestation. John said “Repent ye: for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.” And the Báb, referring to the advent of the Promised One, said: “Verily the rising of the Sun at its zenith is at hand, and ye are still sleeping!”

Reading on in the Chapter my inner eye ear heart and mind discovered even more illumination on the concept of “return” as it related to the Divine manifestations, when Bahá’u’lláh in another statement said that not only was he the return of the Primal Point in the Báb, but he also represented the return of the Imám Husayn… on page 191: Additionally, Bahá’u’lláh makes a most interesting point. He reminds his reader that actually the most important sign, frequently mentioned in the holy traditions, regarding the latter times of the Qá’im’s revelation as none other than the return of Imám Husayn! This was indeed fulfilled through Bahá’u’lláh’s own being; His own name is Husayn and He is the return of the Imám as well.

The next update in my personal journal came on the day of Jalál, Glory, the 9th day of Mulk, Dominion 176 BE, 15 February 2020CE, on which I recorded the Quote of the Day: O SON OF BEING! Thy Paradise is My love, thy heavenly home reunion with Me. Enter therein and tarry not. This is that which hath been destined for Thee in Our kingdom above and Our exalted dominion.

On this date I had just returned to work after another delicious 7 days at home, with the fire of Bahá crackling and burning in my heart, attending Bahá’í gatherings on 4 days out of the 7. The 1st was the Feast of Mulk, Dominion, at our refurbished prayer room at Te Whare Rongoā, the House of Medicine; a beautiful gathering of Friends on the 1st evening at home, at which I read my favourite paragraph, number 13, in the Long Obligatory Prayer, as it also had a mention of Mulk, God’s Dominion:

O God, my God!  My back is bowed by the burden of my sins, and my heedlessness hath destroyed me.  Whenever I ponder my evil doings and Thy benevolence, my heart melteth within me, and my blood boileth in my veins.  By Thy Beauty, O Thou the Desire of the world!  I blush to lift up my face to Thee, and my longing hands are ashamed to stretch forth toward the heaven of Thy bounty.  Thou seest, O my God, how my tears prevent me from remembering Thee and from extolling Thy virtues, O Thou the Lord of the Throne on high and of earth below!  I implore Thee by the signs of Thy Kingdom and the mysteries of Thy Dominion to do with Thy loved ones as becometh Thy bounty, O Lord of all being, and is worthy of Thy grace, O King of the seen and the unseen!

I then remembered that God’s Dominion was also the Name used for one of those 2 worlds between mankind and the Messiahs or Messengers of God, but was not clear remembering which world was which, and what they were all named in the Bahá’í cosmology, so decided to look them up again in Adib Taherzadeh’s beautiful Revelation of Bahá’u’lláh Volume 1: I found the references in the Chapter about the Tablet of Kullu'ṭ-Ṭa'ám, or the Tablet of All Food, which Bahá’u’lláh wrote in His early days in Baghdad for one of His early believers, and was an explication of the Word ‘Food’, relating on different levels not only to physical food but to the Words in the last paragraph of the TOTTS in which …in these cities spiritual sustenance is bountifully provided, and, the food they provide is the bread of the Spirit…  On page 63:

Because the Tablet of Kullu'ṭ-Ṭa'ám is not translated into English in its entirety, it is not possible adequately to convey its significance. The verse of the Qur’án concerning food and the children of Israel was apparently revealed in answer to the Jews' assertion that the laws of Islám on the prohibition of certain foods, contrary to the claims of the Muslims, did not conform to Jewish laws. Bahá′u′lláh explained that this verse in the spiritual worlds of God has infinite meanings, most of which are beyond the comprehension of man, and that He could, through His All-encompassing knowledge, continue to reveal them for many years. But He elucidated some of these, including the spiritual meaning of ‘food', and in so doing unveiled in an infinitesimal measure the glory, the mystery and the vastness of the spiritual worlds of God which are without limit and far beyond the understanding of men.

Of these worlds He mentioned four in this Tablet. To gain some appreciation of their mysteries, let us turn our thoughts to God's creation on this earth, where different kingdoms exist together, each one fulfilling its particular purpose. And let us consider the human being who, in this life, functions on three different levels simultaneously. In relation to the lower kingdoms, such as the vegetable and animal, man is superior and dominant. Within his own kingdom, however, man is created to live in unity with his fellow men; whereas, in relation to the Manifestations of God, he is vastly inferior. In this example it can be seen that although man remains the same being, he manifests three degrees of qualities and attributes: those of unity, of inferiority and superiority. Likewise, the spiritual worlds of God mentioned in this Tablet are of different degrees. The world of Háhut is described by Bahá′u′lláh as the Heaven of Oneness, the realm of the Divine Being, the imperishable Essence, a realm so exalted that even the Manifestations of God are unable to understand it. Bahá′u′lláh has written in one of His Tablets:

The next is the world of Láhút which is the plane of Divinity, the Heavenly Court. In the Writings of Bahá′u′lláh it appears that the realm of Lahut is perhaps the world of God in relation to His Manifestations and Chosen Ones. Immersed in the ocean of His Presence, They claim no station for Themselves on this plane and are as utter nothingness in relation to Him. In this realm no one is identified with God and the designation ‘He alone, and no one else beside Him, is God' becomes manifest here.

Yet another spiritual world which Bahá′u′lláh describes in this Tablet is that of Jabarút, the All Highest Dominion. The station of those who abide therein is closely identified with God, insofar as they manifest all the attributes of God, speak with His voice and are united with Him. This world appears to be the realm in which God's Chosen Ones, in relation to created things, are invested with His authority.

Another plane in the spiritual worlds of God is that of Malakút, the Kingdom of God, often referred to by the Prophets of the past. In the Tablet of Kullu'ṭ-Ṭa'ám, Bahá′u′lláh has described it as the Heaven of Justice. Apart from these four spiritual worlds, Bahá′u′lláh also refers in this Tablet to the realm of Násút–this mortal world–which He describes as the Heaven of Bounty. In many of His Tablets He has confirmed that both the human world and Divine Revelation have come into being through the bounty of God alone, and that if His bounty were to be replaced for one moment by the operation of His justice, the whole of creation would cease to exist.

The 4th and last Bahá’í meeting I attended in my week at home was a Fireside of Friends and seekers to whom I was invited to recite the TOTTS, as over the previous couple of weeks I had pretty much nailed the whole tablet, and it was coming fluently every morning on waking, to the great enjoyment and wonderment of my other wing! The meeting went well, and I felt the assistance from the realms on high in being able to deliver an interesting talk and then an almost faultless recitation of the whole tablet, feeling the magnetic attraction of the burning fire of the heart kindling all the other hearts in the room. I later realised the importance of the dream I had that morning in which I was conscious of the presence of the Blessed Beauty for the 2nd time in my life, but this time I had the experience of actually becoming Him in the dream!

For the first few days after that dream I treasured it in my heart, but decided I would never tell anyone about this, lest they thought I was far too proud and full of ego, but by Day 3 I was ready to tell my other wing. Then on returning to work, only today did I open my email and find this VERY apt Quote of the Day and realise that this experience is actually the destiny of ALL the Friends as described in this blessed Hidden Word… O SON OF BEING! Thy Paradise is My love, thy heavenly home reunion with Me. Enter therein and tarry not. This is that which hath been destined for Thee in Our kingdom above and Our exalted dominion

It reminded me of the Words in Arabic Hidden Word 13: O SON OF SPIRIT! I created thee rich, why dost thou bring thyself down to poverty? Noble I made thee, wherewith dost thou abase thyself? Out of the essence of knowledge I gave thee being, why seekest thou enlightenment from anyone beside Me? Out of the clay of love I molded thee, how dost thou busy thyself with another? Turn thy sight unto thyself that thou mayest find Me standing within thee, mighty, powerful and self-subsisting.

On many days the Quote of the Day was becoming my theme for the meditation of the day, along with some more pages of Dr Saiedi’s Logos and Civilisation, and there was indeed heaps of illumination and learning and understanding, as well as a heart full of gratitude at all the pearls of knowledge received, and the obvious assistance from the people and spirits of the Concourse on High, in the different Worlds of God. For example, On Jamál Beauty 10 Mulk Dominion, Sunday February 16th the Quote of the Day brought a lot more learning and understanding of the gifts delivered in the City of Certitude once the 36 conditions of the true seeker are met:

“Know thou that, according to what thy Lord, the Lord of all men, hath decreed in His Book, the favors vouchsafed by Him unto mankind have been, and will ever remain, limitless in their range. First and foremost among these favors, which the Almighty hath conferred upon man, is the gift of understanding. His purpose in conferring such a gift is none other except to enable His creature to know and recognize the one true God—exalted be His glory. This gift giveth man the power to discern the truth in all things, leadeth him to that which is right, and helpeth him to discover the secrets of creation. Next in rank, is the power of vision, the chief instrument whereby his understanding can function. The senses of hearing, of the heart, and the like, are similarly to be reckoned among the gifts with which the human body is endowed. Immeasurably exalted is the Almighty Who hath created these powers, and revealed them in the body of man.” Gleanings p194.

Contemplating this reading and finding new depths of understandings in each reading from the Blessed Beauty I started wondering how much to share and decided to share the learnings and understandings of just this one day as an example. Today I had trouble remembering one of the sentences in a beautiful reading from Gleanings which I was asked to read at the funeral for a Friend, and subsequently memorised… HEAR ME YE MORTAL BIRDS! In the rose garden of ancient splendour, a new flower hath begun to bloom… etc. So, having to go and look it up to remember the missing sentence I found the other reading I had preserved in the frame behind my beautiful mother’s photo, and was again reminded of her closeness/proximity to me in the invisible worlds in which the sphere of our being does not suffer the same limitation and entrapment in time and space…

A friend once asked Abdu’l-Baha; How should one look forward to death? He answered: How does one look forward to the goal of any journey? With hope and with expectation. It is even so with the end of this earthly journey. In the next world, man will find himself freed from many of the disabilities under which he now suffers. Those who have passed on through death, have a sphere of their own. It is not removed from ours; their work, the work of the Kingdom, is ours, but it is sanctified from what we call ‘time and space’. Time with us is measured by the sun. When there is no more sunrise and no more sunset, that kind of time does not exist for men. Those who have ascended have different attributes from those who are still on earth, yet there is no real separation. In prayer there is a mingling of station, a mingling of condition. Pray for them as they pray for you!
It took the rest of the month of Mulk Dominion and then Ayyám-i-Há, the Days in between time that were timeless Days of God’s highest realm of Há, meant to be used for doing good deeds for your community, but for me were the icing on the cake of my year of meditation and memorisation of the TOTTS, and for me to complete my first reading of Nader Saiedi’s beautiful book, Logos and Civilisation. The nights at work had been very busy through the month of February but for the Ayyám-i-Há they became nice and quiet at work, giving me time to watch some more of the Ertuğrul series in which I was now well into the 3rd Season, and Ertuğrul was still being helped in miraculous ways and coincidental assistance from God ‘Allah and all sorts of His benevolent angels and helpers in the earthly and other realms, to succeed in impossible missions to rout out traitors and evil doers in the cause of justice and peace.

The Netflix series was addictive as ever, I just had to have a few chapters of it every day, and I found myself deepening in my understanding and feeling the flame of love in my heart for the religion of Islam, and the truthfulness and honour of the devoted adherents of Muhammad, the Messenger of ‘Allah, even if they had to fight the evil-doers with the edge of the sword, rather than in this day with the point of the Pen. Ertuğrul with his nomad tribe was constantly influenced and inspired by ibn Arabi and the stories of Muhammad and his holy battles against the traitors, deceivers and infidels. A major theme that kept recurring through Dr Saiedi’s book was this feature of the Bahá’í revelation; that the first thing Bahá’u’lláh did in the Garden of Ridvan was to outlaw the use of the sword or any weapons of bloodshed and destruction in this new dispensation and replace them with the power of the pen.

Last year I had sent away for a book entitled Muhammad and The Course of Islam by Hand of the Cause, H. M. Balyuzi, and I now decided it was time for me to read that book next, before I made a start on the box of books I had received from Kalimat Press, containing Dr Saiedi’s book on the Bab, Gate of God, and many other scholarly collections of writings. With chastened amusement I reviewed my plan back in December to read the whole box of books and realised with a feeling of humility that it had taken me almost 3 months just to complete my first reading of this one book, Dr Saiedi’s amazingly deep and beautiful work of scholarship. It was going to take me at least another year to make it through that box, and I was starting to feel that deepening into the times of the Beloved Muhammad as well as reliving the stories of Ertuğrul might be a good activity for the spiritual heat of the Fast this year.

We only had 1 month left in the year, which would complete the whole year and round of the Badí calendar, with the last month of the year the month of ʻAláʼ which contained the Bahá’í fast, very similar to the Muslim fast of Ramadan but much kinder being only 19 days instead of a whole lunar cycle of 28 days, and leading up to the festivities of NawRuz, the ancient and modern Persian New Year fixed to the northern spring equinox in the sign of Aries.

The beautiful nature of the New World Order of Bahá’u’lláh in outlawing the sword and other physical weapons of hostility or defence, was clarified for me by another job I was given this month by the Far North Maori Bahá’ís… A few of them including my other wing had decided to reactivate ‘the 9-day institute’, which was a 9-day teaching brought to NZ and many other countries by a Knight of Bahá’u’lláh from Alaska, by the name of Jenabe Caldwell. The pack of documents from this time in 1996 when many Maori people were attracted to the fragrance of this City and the Beauty of its Rose and the Melody of its Nightingale  but found themselves unsupported in their communities and quickly dropped out of the faith, contained an old fashioned audio tape, which I had been given the job of translating into MP3 format, and which I achieved in my first week back at work.

I listened to the inspiring stories of this battle-scarred Knight of Bahá’u’lláh several times and even made a summary of the different stories on the tape, realising that with this warfare and conquest in the New World Order, the help and assistance from God and the Concourse on High was just as real and palpable as those recorded in Ertuğrul’s battles with his mythical sword, which brought miraculous victories against the Templars, then the Mongols, and now in Season 3 the Byzantines, but in using the pen instead of the sword there was no bloodshed. The following was my summary of the stories I heard on this precious little tape from 24 years ago, which I made into a small document to introduce the audio tape, with stories that were snippets from a 9 Day Institute in Manukau City, Auckland, New Zealand, January 1996.

0000: After a short introduction Jenabe Caldwell tells the story of how he and his wife went to the Aleutian Islands in the 1950s. beginning with a quote from ‘Abdu’l-Bahá … “The mystery of sacrifice is that there is no sacrifice!” 0955: A Knight of Bahá’u’lláh tells stories about the experiences of teaching teams in Alaska, with miraculous assistance and protection from the armies of the Concourse on High, and Bahá’u’lláh the Supreme Commander. 1715: At the hour of 0100 on the night of the Ascension of Abdu’l-Baha a Police raid is stopped in its tracks by the song “Is there any remover of difficulties save God?”

2110: Suffering and sacrifice in South Carolina. Brenda remembers the advice from ‘Abdu’l-Bahá … “If they poison your life you sweeten their souls!” and finds the key to heaven in the Prayer for Forgiveness. “…the Concourse on High and the angels, rank upon rank, file upon file, descended on that house instantly, and that whole house was set into vibration with the love of God… every atom of the being of that building was vibrating…”

3640: A short 3-minute excerpt on the teaching in South Carolina 30 years or so before this talk. As a consequence, Carolina in 1996 has the largest number of Bahá’ís of any State in the USA except California. 3920: A story about the results of early teaching in South Korea where teachers had a quota and signed up whole villages with a promise of free electricity – 10 years later Jenabe visited the disillusioned new Bahá’ís, every house, and informed them of the type of heat and electricity they had signed up for, and set them all on fire by their own firesides with the love of Bahá’u’lláh! 4250: The village that enrolled the people in the graveyard onto their local spiritual assembly… lol!

4530: “Tell me a story and then I’ll go to bed”! The story of a “Massive Encounter” in Alaska, where 38 foot-soldiers, Bahá’í teachers, activated Bahá’u’lláh’s army, air force, and navy to take the message of the Blessed Beauty to every person in Alaska. 5200: The power of a prayer book against a knife attack! The defeat of the 3 Bully Boys. The attack of the flying bishop! 1hr03m: The commander of the battalion finds support from his cohorts… Is there any remover of difficulties save God? And the opposing army lays down its weapons… “Mister do you mind if we have a cup of coffee before you kill us?” 1hr08m: A story of a small town in Alaska and more lies from the bishop.

1hr13m: Dr Muhajir sends Jenabe and the Alaskans to Germany. Jenabe you’re going to Germany! No, I’m not! Yes, you are!  The response of the German Bahá’ís … the Cause of God is built on sacrifice. 45 Germans answered the call and went to Alaska, not for 9 days, but for 3 months! Then assisted by a battalion of battle-scarred Alaskan veterans who didn’t speak a word of German, they went and set Germany on fire. The veterans showed how to love people into the Cause of God. “The radiance of the fire of love is what attracts people”. The tape is completed by a recording of what Jenabe called “a Hawaiian farewell song from Alaska written by a Haida Indian and sung by the Maoris!”

176BE being a leap year, the final Badí month began at sunset on February 29th 2020CE, ‘Alá’ Loftiness, the Bahá’í month of fasting, my favourite month of the year, especially intense last year with the heat of the 175BE fast which set off the process that became this book. For the first time in my life the heat of the fast continued through the whole year as I paid attention to the learnings and understandings of the TOTTS and felt the heat of the fire in my heart burning ever more fiercely from month to month. With the onset of the fast this year I remembered how I often suffered in the first few days; so much so that I felt myself not as competent as usual working with patients in the ED, and indeed felt like my head was so fuzzy I had made some mistakes in the past, a couple of times even endangering the lives of patients, though thankfully no one sustained any irreversible damage or, God forbid, death! So, this year, since I had only 3 more days before I travelled home to NZ, I decided not to begin the fast till I got home.

Indeed, I felt like I was able to help my patients better and felt satisfied that I made the correct decision. But then as I travelled home and got involved with my other wing, who had volunteered to spend a weekend feeding Vegan food to 60 Maori drug and alcohol counselling students and teachers on a marae, I found myself peeling about 30kg of potatoes on the first night, then lifting the box awkwardly I felt a sudden pain in the L inguinal region. Now a few weeks later it is not too uncomfortable, but I definitely have a small direct left inguinal hernia, which according to modern medicine can only be treated with surgical repair, although I am now remembering that I had some success treating these sorts of conditions many years ago with Harry Oldfield Electrocrystal therapy. Now I definitely feel some rekindling of interest in this wonderful therapy developed by this interesting Englishman, which after almost 36 years of practicing medicine was by a long shot my personal favourite, and the most effective and powerful, of the many electromagnetic therapies I had tried in my practice.

Meditating on this and contemplating this injury I realised that it had most probably occurred because I did not begin the annual fast when I should have. In spite of the silver lining of re-igniting my interest in Electrocrystal Therapy/Medicine, I still felt chastened, and also wondered if this was one reason that might explain the terrible calamities and suffering I had witnessed in some selfless and beautiful Bahá’ís, who did not observe the fast. The writings of the Blessed Beauty state clearly that the fast is the Sun of the Bahá’í faith. Know thou that religion is as heaven; and fasting and obligatory prayer are its sun and its moon. We entreat God, exalted and glorified be He, to graciously aid everyone who acteth according to His will and good-pleasure. Imagine living without the heat of the Sun in the physical world! You would most certainly not be in good health, and in fact very unlikely to show any signs of life at all!

Feeling chastened at my injury, though also grateful for the new understandings (it was OK to break the fast for travelling but not for work) I arrived back in the land of Oz 2 days before government enforced stringent 14 day isolation precautions due to the COVID19 pandemic were applied, which made my hospital administration decide that  I could not work for the next 12 days, and sent me home on self-isolation quarantine. Because of this I have had the freedom of time over the last 10 days to observe on the world wide web the rapid lock down of many countries around the world, starting with China, Iran and Italy, and now watching the grinding of the global economy to a halt, and complete lock down of citizens in New Zealand, and in Australia in a few days’ time. In Italy at this early point in the year of 177 BE there are now more than 6000 deaths including 28 front line doctors, a sobering statistic for a doctor rostered to return to the front line in 2 nights time, when there would be 46 dead Italian doctors!

The knowledge that it takes on average 3 weeks from infection to death with this virus, combined with a probable mortality rate of 1%, and a population infection doubling time of 3-6 days, means that it is likely going to be quite dangerous out there! This has had the positive effect of making me use this paid holiday to also experiment with the Keshe plasma technology, of which, with a little zinc and copper in salt water I have now made a “One Cup One Life” Cup of Life (COL1) for protection, and now a COL2 which produces plasma water which has the property of depleting both bacteria and viruses, and more for support of the organs below the diaphragm like kidney liver and muscular system. This process including links to allow people to find clear instructions on making their own COLs I have published on www.kfnewzealand.com/blog

                                                            Cup of Life 1

That knowledge also brings home to me the significant risk to my physical life this pandemic is bringing to me. I feel vulnerable as for a start I am separated from my other wing, who is about a thousand leagues away across the sea, for God knows how long, and now there is a significant risk of death. I decided it was time to complete this book, Number 54 in the Keshe series, and publish it online, knowing that I should have at least a couple of weeks to do so. It should also give me time to finish the last 2 seasons of the Ertuğrul series on Netflix, which is continuing to warm my interest in the incredibly rich faith of Islam that emanated from the person of the beautiful prophet Muhammad, the friend and messenger of God. At the same time, I made a start on actually reading the Qur’án, with some synchronous dips into this Book of Knowledge that immediately proved for me once again the middle eastern origin of this satanic parasitic curse inflicting itself on humanity for the last few thousand years…                                                                                  Cup of Life 2

Over the same time, I completed my first reading of the H. M. Balyuzi book, Muhammad and the Course of Islam, in which I was totally shocked and traumatised to read about the brutal cruelty treachery and bloodshed committed by deviant caliphs, kings, robber barons, emirs, sheiks and sultans. Briefly summarised it could be described as 1400 years of fratricidal warfare! Through this there was also an honourable few keeping the essence of this religion alive, keeping true to Muhammad and His kind and forgiving messages from God via Gabriel, like the Imam Hussein for example, but these people were very few and far between, and this same situation was reflected in the Ertugrul series! In fact, the history of Islam in this respect was very similar to the 2000-year gruesome history of Christianity; identical in the treachery betrayal lies and cruelty of its kings, priests, prime ministers; selfish humans craving their own power at all costs.

I did notice another nice little coincidence during this time also, as contemplating the coming battle lines against COVID19, it seemed to me a little like jumping into the Abyss, otherwise known as The Valley of True Poverty and Absolute Nothingness, the station of dying to the self and living in God, of being poor in self and rich in the Desired One. Studying this Valley again in The Call of the Divine Beloved, I noticed the following: In this Valley the wayfarer passeth beyond the stages of the “unity of existence” and the “unity of appearance” and reacheth a unity that is sanctified above all these stations.

There was a notation on the sentence leading to Note 71 in the back of the book, to which I now turned and received another small ZK moment when I discovered another reference to Ibnu’l-‘Arabí. In the H.M.Balyuzi book, in the Chapter entitled Sufis and Sufism I had found him referenced as the illustrious Andalusian, Muhyí’d-Dín Ibn al-‘Arabí, who was one of the shining lights in the firmament of Sufism, along with Saná’í, Attár, al-Fárid, and Rumí, and now I discovered that he did indeed live around the same time as Ertuğrul: Copying the notes in The Call of the Divine Beloved, a special publication of the UHJ, I will use crimson ink: 71. A reference to two Sufi concepts. The doctrine of the unity of existence is commonly ascribed to Ibnu’l-‘Arabí (1165 – 1240), that of the unity of appearance to Ahmed Sirhindi (1564 – 1624). See ‘Abdu’l-BaháSome Answered Questions, chapter 82.

This in turn led me to this beautiful book of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá’s explanations on different matters, of which there was also a new re-translation published by the UHJ in 2014, wherein I found a further explication of the learnings from Nader Saiedi’s Logos and Civilisation. In paragraph 16 ‘Abdu’l-Bahá described the difference between what the Sufis and the Prophets said about the relationship between God and man, Divine and material worlds; for example between the teachings of Ibnu’l-‘Arabí and Bahá’u’lláh or Muhammad:

16: The real Existence through which all things are realised, that is, the reality of the divine Essence through which all things have come to exist, is acknowledged by all. The difference resides in the fact that the Sufis maintain that the realities of all things are the manifestation of the One, whereas the Prophets say that they emanate therefrom. And great indeed is the difference between manifestation and emanation. Appearance through manifestation means that a single thing becomes manifest in infinite forms. For example, when the seed, which is a single thing endowed with the perfections of the vegetable kingdom, manifests itself, it becomes resolved into the infinite forms of the branches, leaves, flowers and fruit. This is called manifestational appearance, whereas in appearance through emanation the One remains transcendent in the heights of its sanctity, but the existence of the creatures is obtained from it through emanation, not manifestation. It can be compared to the sun: The rays emanate from it and shine forth upon all thigs, but the sun remains transcendent in the heights of its sanctity. It does not descend; it does not resolve itself into the form of the rays; it does not appear in the identity of things through specification and individuation. The Pre-existent does not become the originated; absolute wealth does not fall captive to poverty; unqualified perfection is not transferred into utter imperfection.

17: In summary, the Sufis speak only of God and creation, and believe that God has resolved Himself into, and manifested Himself through, the infinite forms of His creation, even as the sea which appears in the infinite forms of its waves. These originated and imperfect waves are identical to the pre-existent Sea, which is the sum of all the divine perfections. The Prophets, however, hold that there is the world of God, the world of the Kingdom, and the world of Creation: three things. The first emanation is the outpouring grace of the Kingdom, which has emanated from God and has appeared in the realities of all things, and is specified and individuated according to their capacity, receptivity, and essence… etc

Then I noticed that the previous chapter, number 81, was one that I had never noticed or read before, entitled Reincarnation. In this great chapter ‘Abdu’l-Bahá explicated at length the difference between the concept of “return” which we also discovered in several different ways on the Path of Search, through the TOTTS; with his inner eye will he discover the mysteries of “return” and “revival”, and the ideas of reincarnation prevalent in many religions, faiths, philosophical societies and mystery schools on this planet. This is very topical for me at the moment, approaching the Valley of Annihilation and catching a few glimpses of ‘Izrá’íl the angel of death as I prepare for the battle ahead, and now having a strong faith that it does not really matter; whatever happens I shall be OK. This faith in which I have deepened and strengthened in the course of learning this blessed tablet, was further deepened and illumined in this talk by ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, with the emanations of his rays of knowledge and understanding of the Arcs of Ascent and descent that I have already examined in Dr Saiedi’s book earlier in the chapter. The Master also said that to really understand these concepts of existence and return or revival we need to study the Kitáb-i-Íqán…

9: The Theosophists believe that man will return time and again in the arc of ascent until he reaches the Supreme Centre, where matter becomes as a spotless mirror, the light of the spirit shines forth in the plenitude of its power, and essential perfection is attained. However, those who have thoroughly investigated the questions of divinity know of a certainty that the material worlds terminate at the end of the arc of descent; that the station of man lies at the end of the arc of descent and the beginning of the arc of ascent, which is opposite the Supreme Centre; and that from the beginning to the end of the arc of ascent the degrees of progress are of a spiritual nature. The arc of descent is called that of “bringing forth” and the arc of ascent that of “creating anew”. The arc of descent ends in material realities and the arc of ascent in spiritual realities….

I further realised that if one is on a spiritual path like the path of search, then not only is there a beautiful promise of paradise ahead, coming up more or less swiftly, Insha’Allah, but also it does not matter what evil-doers do to you, or try to do to you in this material reality, it cannot affect you at all in the spiritual worlds ahead. But it also makes me look deeper into what the TOTTS tells us to do with these evil-doers? In the days of Muhammad or Ertuğrul it was a bit simpler; the only thing one could do was to sharpen one’s sword and pray to ‘Allah for victory. Now, in this dispensation of the pen, one can fight the disinformation and tricks of the evil-doers, though one must be very careful here also, as witnessed by the huge mortality statistics of alternative or forward-thinking medical practitioners in the big Pharma-dominated USA.

What prompted me to look again at the instructions given in the TOTTS on how to deal with evil-doers was the fact that somebody had hacked one of my credit cards and stolen about $1000, and someone was also trying to hack my PayPal account. It made me have a good look at the security on my iPhone, but also my peaceful calm existence was now invaded by some feelings of anger at these impertinent criminal thieves and scoundrels! How should I deal with them? Was there a way to make sure they immediately got what they were trying to give? The answer came in the early hours when I could not sleep, so started doing a horizontal recitation of the TOTTS. I found that every few sentences I would drift off into lucid REM sleep, and when I got to the 4thparagraph, the paragraph of the “should nots”, I found myself drifting off with this sentence in my consciousness: With all his heart should the seeker avoid fellowship with evil-doers, and pray for the remission of their sins. He should forgive the sinful and never despise his low estate, for none knoweth what his own end shall be!

Drifting off into the dream while contemplating these words I caught sight of a massive wolf or Alsatian dog coming to alert and setting off on a hunting mission. I had seen this wolf several times in my dreams over the years, and he was very much present while I was raising my children, and I understood at the time that this was a spirit animal that was there for the protection of me and my loved ones. The glimpse of this massive wolf-dog gave me a heart full of gratitude as I woke from the dream, and I was very happy to realise that all feelings of anger and revenge had wafted away like a morning mist in warm sunlight. I felt grateful at the understanding that we should personally forgive the sinful, as in fact there could be you and I but for the grace of God. It was not for me to judge or punish, but I was still happy to pray for the remission of the sins of the evil-doers.

When I looked up the word “remission” I had more learnings and understandings, when I discovered it meant, not only forgiveness, but repayment of the sins and debts incurred. Throughout most of history remission of sins could only be made with blood; in historical times with the blood of the evil-doers, in Jewish times with the blood of sacrificial sheep or goats, and in Christian times with the blood of Christ. Today that was further driven home by an attack by a “John Hill” on Facebook messenger, whose logo was an ISIS-type fighter with a machine gun firing at people. The intrusive message came while I was browsing a truth-seeking website on the origin of this COVID19 Corona virus.

On the one hand I had known for years that such a pandemic was inevitable because of the cruelly grotesque modern farming practices, with millions of chickens pigs and other animals crowded together in huge factories; definitely a breach of one of the conditions of a true seeker… he should show kindness to animals, how much more to his fellow man, to him who has been endowed with the power of utterance… These factory farms and live animal markets with crowded animals and birds saturated in their own faeces are a healthy breeding ground for flu and corona viruses, as they encourage a very rapid mutation rate. So, if this cruelty to animals has played a part in producing this pandemic, what then will the payment be for the remission of the sins of the evil-doing farmers, and the billions of flesh-eating evil-doers? Again, if scientists at some of the hundreds of biological warfare defence laboratories around the planet had a hand in it, which theory has accumulating evidence on many truth-seeking websites pointing out the strange coincidence of the Wuhan virus outbreak with the visit of an American military team, and the strange precision of the virus in targeting Asian, Iranian and Italian bloodlines, what will be the payment expected from them to compensate for the horrific suffering of millions of human beings?

It actually makes no difference from this point of view whether the pandemic was caused by the unwitting cruelty of human farmers on this slaughterhouse planet, or the cold precision of psychopathic military criminal-elite people trying to enact Agenda 21, in line with the Georgia guide stones, to get the human population back to a more controllable 500 million or so. Either way, according to the TOTTS we should give them forgiveness, without which our Merkaba rainbow light bodies will never spark up to flight condition, and we should also pray for the remission of their sins, and then just release the spirit wolf to go hunting in the next worlds, which we can get glimpses of in REM sleep. Then, if faced with physical threat, like Ertuğrul and his Alps were almost every day of their lives, we should not lie down or keep quiet; we should expose them all with the power of the pen. Our strength with this strategy is in our own blood, which we are very happy to shed in this path, as we would then join the beautiful and blessed martyrs of our faith, and with the knowledge that this is one of the quickest and easiest ways to get to the heavenly realms of the Arc of Ascent! As the Blessed Beauty Himself told us in the last Arabic Hidden Word, Number 71!

O Son of Man! Write all that We have revealed unto thee with the ink of light upon the tablet of thy spirit. Should this not be in thy power, then make thine ink of the essence of thy heart. If this thou canst not do, then write with that crimson ink that hath been shed in My path. Sweeter indeed is this to Me than all else, that its light may endure forever.

The opportunity of the COVID19 pandemic is also being used by Dr Steven Greer, one of the greatest and most fearless brave warriors of Ba, to launch his 3rd big movie; Close Encounters of the 5th Kind, to bring us closer to the Universal Community or Concourse on High. I was delighted a few days ago to tune onto a live broadcast by the good doctor, in which he told people some home truths about the nature of the evil-doers, and then led a massive group of approximately 25,000 people into a synchronous meditation field to bring peace, health and beauty to the people of planet Earth. Things are evidently in the balance. A massive war between the principalities and powers appears to be underway, and the good doctor Greer is one of the leading generals on the positive side, as he attempts to get the viewers of his new movie to the magical 1% of the planetary population at 80 million views! Along with this I am continuing to tune into DJ, who as I type this is having a fascinating and very funny conversation about the forces at play in this pandemic crisis in the background with to my mind one of his most fascinating interviews with one of the most intelligent minds on the planet, that of Dr Joseph Farrell, though I also have to remember that the really important teaching comes from the New Beloved of this dispensation, and the rustling leaves and great branches of the tree, which flourisheth in this City…

For this reason, I choose to complete the Full Circle with some Words from the Master, who warned us back in 1912 that it was time to move out of the cities into villages in this book entitled Memories of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, Recollections of the Early Days of the Bahá’í Faith in California, his Words recorded by Ramona Allen Brown, one of the early rustling leaves from California over a hundred years ago. The sobering words also suggest that this pandemic crisis may be just the beginning of suffering for the people of the cities of planet Earth.

P112: It is essential that the youth of today study deeply the Faith as they will usher in the Most Great Peace. The Lesser Peace will be established within this century. (20th Century) The Most Great Peace in the next century. (21st Century) The Global Crusade will establish the Bahai Faith the world over but will not have a direct influence in establishing the United States of the World. The first period will be that of suffering and cleansing; the second period will be that of unification; and the third, the establishment of the Bahai World Faith. After the International State is established and wars cease, the money now being expended for destruction and war will be used for education and science, and a method will be discovered for interplanetary communication, even interplanetary conferences. The time will come when people can cross the entire nation in one hour and eventually beyond the continent into interplanetary travel. The cycle of six thousand years of city building has come to an end, and now we will have a new pattern starting with villages, etc. Material civilization is becoming like the ancient city of Babylon, and it must be destroyed.

There were only a couple more things that called out to be part of this narrative, one of which was the inspiring speech that Ibnu’l-‘Arabí gave Ertuğrul before he left his nomad tent to fight a major battle for the Sulṭán last week on Netflix, when I was prompted to write down some of the words in my notebook: You fight against the cruel, to spread God’s Words and for the victory of Islam. As our holy religion dictates, we shall strive to save the oppressed from the hands of the cruel. You aim to establish justice in the whole world. Our prophet Muhammad says this in one of His sayings: “If winning prizes, gaining fame and glory, and gaining authority are the reasons for this war, then it is no war. The real war strives to bring glory to God’s Name.”

Connecting this theme to the present day was the Quote of the Day for 29th of March 2020 CE, Jamál (Beauty), 10 Bahá 177 B.E, the Year of the Great battle with COVID19 in which we are quickly finding tools in both the matter and plasma realms to keep the people of planet Earth healthy. One of the promises in the last paragraph of the Most Holy Book Kitáb-i-Aqdas was that the coming of age of humanity at the beginning of the most Great Peace would be signalled by the emergence of a new science of transmutation of matter; plasma science, and another sign would be the disappearance of the station of kings among men, so then everyone would be a king in this new dispensation of the Pen. To me it is important to keep this in mind when reading this Quote of the Day that encourages us to go to war again as a king of the Blessed Beauty to bring glory to the Names of God:

“There is no force on earth that can equal in its conquering power the force of justice and wisdom. I, verily, affirm that there is not, and hath never been, a host more mighty than that of justice and wisdom. Blessed is the king who marcheth with the ensign of wisdom unfurled before him, and the battalions of justice massed in his rear. He verily is the ornament that adorneth the brow of peace and the countenance of security. There can be no doubt whatever that if the day-star of justice, which the clouds of tyranny have obscured, were to shed its light upon men, the face of the earth would be completely transformed.” Tablets of Bahá’u’lláh Revealed After the Kitáb-i-Aqdas, 1988 pocket-size edition, Pages:  164-165, excerpt from LAWḤ-I-LAWḤ-I-MAQṢÚD (Tablet of Maqṣúd)
